December 15, 2017 was a very interesting day for our children, that have been participating in the Hanukkah activities at “Return to Zion”.
The organizers of the event during the Hanukkah holidays, prepared for them and their parents an exciting trip to a special city in Galilee – Nazareth.
Here, according to the Gospel, Yeshua spent his childhood and youth. Afterwards all participants went to the Zippori National Park – an ancient city,
which fascinated the children with a large number of mosaics. In the park one can see mosaics from different times, related to different religions, and of different artistic levels.
By far the most interesting part, not only for children, but for their parents as well, was the walk through the cave. It was fun with lots of emotions!
At the end of the walk a visit to a local olive press factory in the Galilee was scheduled. Everyone could purchase gifts such as olive oil, handmade soap from olives or orange jam.
Thanks to the organizers and the tour guide, the trip was educational and exciting at the same time.
