Return to Zion Ministry Update

Music and Art School “Rainbow of Sounds”

Music and Art School “Rainbow of Sounds” helps kids and adults, to see the Creator, through the prism of the creativity.

  • The quality of education and the friendly atmosphere have been the key factors in helping the students choose and attend our school.
  • Our students have opportunities to participate in various concerts.  This picture shows a recent concert performed by piano students.
  • This work has proved to be truly rewarding, as we believe that many of the children we are teaching today will become members of worship teams in the future.

Olim ministry

Olim ministry – offering practical help to new immigrants, returning to Zion. We also run a 2 soup kitchens providing meals for people in need.

  • Following the example of Yeshua (Jesus) , after each seminar for new immigrants, we do not want them go home hungry.
  • Together with the city’s social services, we distributed food packages to those in need on this past Passover.
  • An important part of serving new repatriates is introducing them to the culture of the Jewish people.  Gatherings on Kaballat Shabbat and the fests  help them to get acquainted with tradition, to fellowship  and to get to know each other better.

Eagle Project

The Eagle Project was created for Messianic congregations in Israel to serve young adults who have completed their service in the Israel Defense Forces.

  • This Year the “Eagle” team traditionally visited different areas in beautiful Norway and served in various places such as Churches, house groups, prayer houses, and schools.
  • A new direction for the project in 2019 is Asia. Young people from Taiwan and Korea worshiped the Lord along with members of the Eagle project, sharing testimonies and experiencing practical ministry.
  • God is opening new doors for us to do more for the next generation, to bless them, to help them grow, to supply them with tools and to provide them with opportunities for ministry.

"Return to Zion" Congregation

“Return to Zion” Congregation is very active. During the feasts of the Lord, we are celebrating and rejoicing together. Everyone finds an opportunity to participate in the ministry and to make friends.

  • This Shavuot was a joyful event for the whole congregation with songs and dancing, celebrating the bestowal of the Torah and the Holy Spirit following by a tasty meal with traditional food.
  • At the new “Aleph-Club” gathered about 30 people. For them, it was not only a time of acquaintance with the history and culture of the land, but also the possibility to discuss the most important topics of life.
  • Some of the visitors of the “Aleph-Club” also attend an ulpan (language course), organized by the congregation for new immigrants.

Ministry to Holocaust Survivors

The generation of those who lived through the horrors of the Holocaust is a very precious group of elderly Jewish people. They are truly unique. Having survived ghettos and concentration camps, they have fears of the past that are still fresh in their memories. The trauma of losing loved ones has left deep, lifelong scars in their hearts, the effects of which have prevented many of them from having a family of their own.

  • People who have been through the horrors of the Holocaust find it hard to get rid of the bitter roots in their hearts. But with God everything is possible.
  • Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
    (Isaiah 51:11)
  • Small gifts on Passover this year were distributed to Holocaust survivors. Unfortunately, every year, we are distributing less and less  gifts.

“Return to Zion” Congregation was established by Leon and Nina Mazin in 2001. In 2004, the congregation birthed a daughter congregation, called Branch of Galilee, located in Upper Nazareth. Return to Zion ministry also had an impact in forming messianic congregations in Eilat and Tel Aviv.

Together with you, we live in anticipation of the coming of the Mаssiah, and invite you to become our partners in the restoration of His Kingdom in Israel and in the all world!

Please pray for us and be our partners.
