Here in Israel one of the most intensive months “Tishrei” went by. The sevenths month according to the Jewish calendar, a month of the fall festivals of the Lord.
This is a very joyful, festive and solemn period of the year! All this can be felt only in Israel, participating in these festivities, united with the people whom the Lord commanded to celebrate these appointed times from generation to generation in Eretz Israel.
[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”120″ display=”basic_thumbnail” thumbnail_crop=”0″]The feast of the Blowing the Shofar, the Day of Attornment, the Feast of Tabernacles and the Feast of the Torah Joy. The feasts that have not come to fulfilment yet but with a prophetical meaning. Although the Fest of the Torah Joy has been fulfilled partly – the “Births of Yeshua” was during this holiday – “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth” – and the Scripture speaks of this.
During the fest of Blowing the Shofar or the Jewish New Year – “Rosh HaShana” – we had a lot of visitors at our Messianic Congregation “Netzer HaGalil” (in English “the Branch of Galilee”) and it was really cheerful. The Lord gathered three congregation – the Rehab center of Vadim and the congregation of Yakov D. And as a fulfilling of the words from Zechariah 14,16 – we hosted a group from Taiwan. 130 people from different backgrounds became one body that worsh, iped the name of the Lord, the God of Israel. It was awesome!
On October 4, 2019, together with musicians from Russia and Kyrgyzstan we celebrated together with friends that we always try to stay in contact with – the Holocaust Survivors.
[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”121″ display=”basic_thumbnail” thumbnail_crop=”0″]“Yom Kippur” the Day of Attornment – as usually we came together in prayer and fasting at our congregation. And this is a special time during which we come before the Lord.
“Sukkoth” or Fest of Tabernacles we celebrated together with guests from South Korea.
