One of the main goals of our ministry here helping new immigrants. People who recently returned to Zion and set foot on the land of the Jewish state. We are especially aware of their need to fellowship and to get integrated (to settle) into Israeli society. For them to gain a deep understanding of the meaning of Jewish holidays and traditions.
During the bright holiday of Hanukkah (the Feast of Lights) we welcomed new immigrants to our congregation. A lecture on the history and meaning of the holiday was given, traditional songs were sung, and of course delicious donuts delighted everyone. The children of our team performed a small play on stage to entertain the guests.
