Passover feast for Holocaust survivors at the Return to Zion Messianic Congregation

Pesach (Passover).  For the Jewish people, this is not simply one of the most important holidays of the year. It passes from generation to generation the deepest truths and hopes of the people. It is common to prepare carefully for Passover, to remove all leaven from the house and then finally a family gather for a festive dinner – the Seder, which absorbs the thousand-year tradition of remembering those miracles that the Almighty showed to the people, bringing them out of Egypt. In Pesach we find both the history and traditions, and the moral for today. But also on the pages of the Torah we clearly see the prophecy about the Messiah Yeshua, who came and became the Perfect Lamb, the Perfect Sacrifice for us, and brought His people out of the slavery of sin. Probably, people who have passed through the horror of the Holocaust perceive this holiday even more, especially, since for them “slavery” and “survival” are an integral part of life, the pain of their personal history. For them, like to no one else, it is important to allow Yeshua to heal the wounds of their heart, to come to real freedom, while there is still time.
On April 23, 2019, a festive banquet was held for Holocaust survivors at the “Return to Zion” meeting hall, in cooperation with the “Beit Sar Shalom” ministry. In addition to the warm friendly atmosphere and delicious treats, everyone who came received a gift from the organizers of the event.
