On January 3rd, 2020, around 50 food packages have been distributed to new immigrants.
“They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” – these words of our Lord and Messiah are also more than relevant in our days. Despite the government’s assistance program for immigrants, due to the high prices of housing, rent and food and once the “absorption basket” (financial assistance paid by the government during the first 6 months in the country) is completed, new Israeli citizens often find themselves in a difficult financial situation. “Return to Zion” Ministry cannot stand aside. Distribution of food packages to those in need is not only an opportunity for humanitarian aid, but also a chance to establish relationships with these people and to provide assistance in other areas. Many of them, seeing our care and kindness are open to come other events of the Ministry.
