On February 17-18, 2017, married couples from our Messianic Congregation, Return to Zion, spent an unforgettable holiday in the north of Israel, near the Sea of Galilee. More than twenty couples were welcomed at the hotel in Moshav Migdal. First, the couples went on a tour to Gamla Park. It has a lot of interesting sites and things to do there such as: breeding grounds of eagles, the highest waterfall in Israel, the oldest synagogue in the world, the ruins of a Byzantine monastery and an ancient city, many walking trails and a rich nature. There is also an observation point with a beautiful view.
After the tour, the couples visited the shofar factory of Shimon Kenan at Moshav Givat Yoav in the Golan Heights. After the trip, everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner in the hotel. One of the primary goals of the retreat was the time spent in worship and several seminars that centered on family and relationships (for men and women). The couples also enjoyed some games and free time as well. This retreat was organized to strengthen the relationships of our families.
